Born Moscow 1953, graduated from Tver Art School 1970. Specialises in still-life and landscape painting with 'plein-air' sketching his favourite area of creativity. He works mostly with palette knife though at times will also employ a brush. His paintings are full of light and bright colours and are sought by interior designers as well as private collectors. His works have been exhibited extensively in Russia, UK, Japan, Holland, Belgium and USA and are in numerous private collections
