1893-1965 Born in Copenhagen, studied at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts under the famous Julius Paulsen. He won the Ronge Prize in 1920 and the Serdin-Hansen Prize in 1931. Debuted at the Charlottenborg 1916 (Danish Royal Academy) and exhibited there almost continuously until 1964. He was also a frequent exhibitor at the Artists“ Fall Exhibitions (1917-19, 1924-26 and 1928-32). He is particularly known for his landscapes and street scenes with thick impasto technique. He travelled repeatedly to France from 1926. His work is featured at Bornholms Kunstmuseum and Nordjyllands Kunstmuseum
